October 28th, 1914. Already 100 years ago when Gavrilo Princip and his friends faced the judgment which would decide their lives in prison or execution.
Because he was 19 years at the moment he killed Franz Ferdinand (he was 20 at this day), he saved himself from the noose but not from 20 years at prision.
We can't forget what he said later, when he was about to move to another prision, far away of homeland and knowing that he'll not survive 20 years.
There is no need to carry me to another prison. My life is already ebbing away. I suggest that you nail me to a cross and burn me alive. My flaming body will be a torch to light my people on their path to freedom.
